SAN PIETRO IN CARIANO
Numerous Venetian Villas and patrician mansions are scattered on the territory of San Pietro in Cariano. In the town of Pedemonte there is the only example of Palladian villa of the Veronese territory: Villa Serego. The buiding was erected according to plans by Andrea Palladio following the will of the count Marcantonio Serego. It is a building of great scenic beauty, surrounded by a park of century-old trees, statues and a small lake.

Villa Fumanelli, another interesting building, is located in the hamlet of Squarano, and was built between the end of the sixteenth century and the beginning of the seventeenth century on a pre-existing Roman villa. In Cengia di Negarine stands Villa Giona Fagioli, famous for its ample park, while in the center of San Pietro in Cariano stands the sixteenth century Villa Acquistapace. Just on the outskirts of town there is Villa Pullè Monga of the same period, and in Castelrotto there is the neoclassical Villa Bellini.
